The staff at Church Executive congratulates blogger Mike Klockenbrink, Operations Officer at Lakeside Church in Folsom, CA, on his appointment as president of the Sacramento chapter of the National Association for Church Business Administration (NACBA).
Klockenbrink has been a member of the NACBA — and its Sacramento chapter — since 2000.
Among his goals, Klockenbrink aims to lead a group of church business administrators in the area of business operations. “I want to create a platform for all churches to come together and learn, share and build a network with fellow administrators,” he says. “We try to create engaging and relevant topics on a monthly basis to keep the business administrators informed and educated. We often invite guest speakers from a related field to come and speak.”
The group meets once a month, for two hours. “We break bread, catch up [with each other], and learn about that month’s topic,” Klockenbrink adds.
Congrats! I would be interested in visiting your meeting sometime – I live in the Sacramento area too. Love that there is a local NACBA chapter.
