Innovative partnership targets religious youth travel market

NEW Digital Publication Debuts this October

“Youth Ministries On the Go” debuts this October as a NEW digital publication.

Church Executive has teamed up with and BUSRide magazine and Premier Tourism Marketing, publisher of Leisure Group Travel, Group Travel Directory and niche publications targeting the reunion, student, religious, sports events and ski markets, to create an innovative new digital publication targeting the emerging religious youth travel marketplace.

“Youth Ministries On the Go” is being developed as a practical guide for church executives, youth ministers, tour operators and bus companies interested in extending outreach through youth group travel. “On the Go” will launch in October 2011 as a digital publication targeting youth ministers in America’s largest churches and megachurches. Its purpose is to provide a “how-to” resource for youth ministers who want to organize a successful motorcoach tour for their youth groups.

Ron Keener, editor of Church Executive, said, “Youth ministry has a more significant role than ever before in the life of a vibrant church, and we feel this publication will be a great asset to church leaders. When people do things together, great things happen. That is why we feel ‘Youth Ministries On the Go’ is of tremendous benefit to Christian youth ministers.”

Jeff Gayduk, publisher of Leisure Group Travel magazine said, “The goal is to help motorcoach and tour operators better understand how to market their services to youth ministries, an attractive and growing niche market. In an age where many are searching for the next ‘it’ market, we’ve not only identified it, but are providing actionable solutions for operators seeking to develop this business.”

In November 2011, “On the Go” will be re-purposed to include a 4-page cover wrap directed at the owners and operators of motorcoach charter and tour companies throughout the U.S.

Steve Kane, publisher of BUSRide added, “Churches represent an outstanding turn-key opportunity for motorcoach tour companies; however, maximizing the potential of this market requires a special awareness of these customers’ needs. ‘Youth Ministries On the Go’ is a key to unlocking this trove of new business as it will help motorcoach operators become true partners in a church’s youth group travel experience.”

Among other things, this publication:
• Reaches 20,000 youth ministers in America’s largest churches, top group travel buyers and motorcoach operators
• Provides a multi-media format with the ability to embed video, audio, Web links and more
• Tracks results through easy-to-use analytics
