New church design & construction firm debuts

APRIL 22, 2019 (Tulsa, Okla.) — Based in Tulsa, but operating nationwide, Master’s Plan Church Design and Construction is a new company founded and led by experienced leader in church design and construction Rodney James.

Having grown up building buildings with his father — and serving for 20 years in ministry — James says he is continuing to use the experience, wisdom and knowledge he has gained in both construction and ministry to guide pastors and churches through the journey of ministry facility design, renovation, expansion, and new construction.

While serving as administrator and senior pastor, James led his church through three successful building and renovation projects. Over the past eight years, he managed another church building firm and has walked many pastors and churches through the entire process, from concept to occupancy. His established connections and partnerships in the church construction industry allow him to assist churches with every facet of projects, including capital campaigns and church lending.

As James points out, research shows that 82 percent of projects are designed beyond budget limitations.  “It’s impossible to reduce cost of the project after design, so designing within the budget is the only way to ensure the project can be completed at or under budget,” he says.

To this end, James says God-given wisdom has enabled him to develop a process which has allowed him to complete every project he and his team designed and constructed for the past five years at or under budget.

“This remarkable statistic provides pastors assurance that Master’s Plan Church Design and Construction will manage their project, and they will be guided by Biblical principles to a successful project completion,” James adds. “[It also] provides a safe way for pastors to know that they can complete their project without having to find additional funding at the last minute.”
