Pushpay announces summer product launch to accelerate church leaders’ ability to drive participation and increase generosity

Announcement comes as hundreds gather to learn about industry trends and company news at Pushpay’s sold-out conference, Summit One Day

On August 16, Pushpay Holdings Limited ( NZSX:PPH , ASX:PPH , ‘Pushpay’ or ‘the Company’), a leading payments and engagement provider to the US faith sector, announced a sweeping set of company updates for customers to provide unprecedented reliability and security in the Pushpay donor management system.

Announcements also include a brand refresh that will reconcile several Pushpay brands under a single logo mark to drive simplicity for customers, improving understanding of the company and the solutions they provide to more than 7,000 churches around the world.

Summit One Day

The announcement came as nearly 700 leaders in the faith industry were gathering in Charlotte, N.C., to attend Summit One Day, designed to equip church leaders and senior staff with the tools and resources they need to increase participation in their ministries.

Chris Heaslip, Pushpay’s CEO and Co-founder, closed the event with a presentation detailing how the Company is investing in initiatives and features that enable churches to increase participation in the missions that matter most to them. Registration for the event was sold out, but the closing presentation was live streamed, free of charge, on the company website.

“I frequently hear customers talk about wanting to invest in their skills and learn more about the industry, ‘One day down the road.’ We believe that day is today,” said Heaslip. “This event isn’t about inspiring attendees; it’s about equipping them with tools and knowledge that will make them better marketers, better storytellers, and better leaders when they leave the conference.”

New brand, website

Visitors to the Pushpay website will notice a new experience, with a single brand and more clarity on the Company and its vision for the future. The refreshed brand and digital presence reflects the Company’s commitment to streamlining and creating efficiency in its operations and for their customers.

The company will now align the resources of echurch, Bluebridge, and ZipZap processing underneath the Pushpay brand.

“Previously, people would visit the echurch website when they were first getting to know us, the Pushpay website when they became customers, and the ZipZap website when they had questions about their payments,” said Guy Weismantel, chief marketing officer at Pushpay. “Now, we’re speaking with one voice, from one platform, so we can tell the inspiring stories of our customers working to change the world.”

Product updates

Additionally, Pushpay is releasing cutting-edge features designed to help customers protect

investments and safeguard trust in financial workflows, key concerns for IT and financial

professional leaders in the faith market:

  • Payment Assurance ensures all gifts given through Pushpay are successfully captured and deposited, even if there is a downstream outage. This patent-pending technology has already saved churches more than US$4 million in the first three months since launching that otherwise would have been lost due to downstream provider outages.
  • Recurring Migration simplifies and amplifies the process of setting up the Pushpay giving platform when a church already has a giving platform in place. It automates on-boarding by providing a templated email campaign that prompts givers through a seamless process to move their recurring donations to the Pushpay platform.
  • The company also announced a new integration with Focus Missions, a leading mission trip management platform. This integration will allow Pushpay customers to accept donations through Focus Missions, consolidating merchant providers and streamlining batch reconciliation.

These product announcements come on the heels of a recent earnings announcement where the Company touted a record sales quarter. The Company continues to experience quarter-over-quarter growth in its customer base, including serving 55 of the 100 largest churches in the United States.

“We’re constantly looking to drive value and innovation for our customers,” said Josh Robb, vice president of product and engineering at Pushpay. “The pace of innovation is accelerating, and we’re committed to helping the churches engage donors, tie systems together, and reconcile finances faster than ever before.”
