Dallas, TX — June 10, 2025 — The Church Network proudly announces that 30 church executives have earned the prestigious Certified Church Administrator (CCA) credential. These professionals join a community of over 900 others who have received this designation since 1979.
The 2025 CCA class successfully completed rigorous coursework, a congregation-specific project, and an academic paper. They will be honored during the 69th Annual Conference of The Church Network in Omaha, NE, July 15-18. The diverse group of CCAs represents various regions and denominations across the United States.
The rigorous standards for the program are set by the Professional Training and Standards Committee, and the day-to-day operations of the program are overseen by Peyton Johnson, Director of Education and Events at The Church Network.
Denise Craig, CAE, CCA, Chief Executive Officer for The Church Network, congratulates the new CCAs: “Your expertise in church administration will make a significant impact within your own church, community, and the work you do daily. Congratulations on such a significant professional milestone!”
The CCA program covers nine areas of study: Human Resource Management, Information Technology, Property Management, Communications & Marketing, Strategic Planning, Financial Management, Legal & Tax Compliance, Self-Care, and Theology & Ethics of Church Administration. The certification program aims to elevate professional standards and enhance individual performance.
