Open Position:
Director of Finance & Operations
Building God’s Way (BGW Architects) is seeking qualified candidates with a minimum of 5 years
of relevant professional experience to fill a full-time role as Director of Finance & Operations at
its office in Ogden, UT. This person will report directly to the Board of Directors and will lead
the Finance, Human Resources and Operations Departments of the organization.
Finance roles will include managing the financial health and stewardship of the organization through planning, budgeting, risk management, cash flow, financial reporting, regulatory compliance, ESOP administration, tax filings, and more.
Human Resources roles will include management and oversight of payroll, health and 401K benefits administration, hiring/firing, evaluating salaries and bonuses, conflict resolution, strategic workforce planning, budget management for personnel costs and aligning HR initiatives with financial goals.
Operations management roles will include overseeing day-to-day administrative and operational functions of the organization to ensure efficiency and alignment with the overall strategy. This includes business and architectural license compliance in all states, contract administration, project budgeting, maintaining and renewing professional and general liability insurance policy, building care and maintenance and more.
Compensation Package:
- Starting salary range of $100-125K with a clear path for annual growth
- Annual Bonus of $15,000 to $30,000 after your first year
- Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP)
- 401K Plan with employer match up to 3%
- Employer sponsored Health Insurance
Paid Time Off
- 2 weeks vacation per year (increases to 3 weeks after 10 years of service)
- 2 Days allowed for additional PTO per year
- 5 Days allowed for sick time per year
- 5 Days for Overseas Missions Trips
