It is unfortunate, yet not uncommon, that many local communities oppose the efforts of religious organizations who desire to build or expand their property for religious purposes.

Eleven churches of The Episcopal Church and the Episcopal Church of Virginia in December 2006 voted to “hold steadfast to historic faith and to Scripture, the authority of which was formally rejected by The Episcopal Church.”
