Christian Leadership Alliance celebrates this milestone at the Outcomes Conference 2026 — April 28–30 in Dallas, Texas
Today we learn more about this milestone through an interview with Tami Heim, president and CEO of Christian Leadership Alliance since 2012.
Church Executive: Share with us more about Christian Leadership Alliance and the significance of celebrating this milestone.
Tami Heim: Like many organizations, Christian Leadership Alliance has a rich history. Our ministry is marked by God’s faithfulness to use this community to equip those he calls to serve and entrust to bring the hope of Christ throughout the world.
The success and impact of Christian Leadership Alliance over the past five decades are a testament to the many Christian men and women who have invested their wealth of experience, knowledge, and resources as a legacy for future Christian leaders.
Our stories always have a place in God’s story. This milestone is symbolic of our Year of Jubilee, which marks the completion of seven cycles of seven years of service. It reflects a time of remembering and resetting social, economic, and spiritual harmony. For us, it will also be a time of mercy, hope, and renewal.
Zechariah 4:9–10 reminds us that God rejoices in small beginnings. Little did those 20 leaders who gathered on March 20, 1976, know that they were doing more than gathering and sharing best practices.
Because they believed that Christian leaders are stronger together and the power of God was with them, it fueled a movement that would one day increase the effectiveness of Christian leaders in this country and around the world.
Because of the Alliance’s commitment to God-honoring excellence and the generosity of many over the decades, today more than 40 million leaders in 125 countries have access to the professional insights and spiritual development that Christian Leadership Alliance provides. It is worthy of praise and celebration for what God has accomplished.
CE: Describe the leaders actively participating in the Alliance community.
Heim: The Alliance reflects what Paul describes in 1 Corinthians 12: 4–7, “Now there are varieties of gifts, but the same Spirit; and there are varieties of service, but the same Lord; and there are varieties of activities, but it is the same God who empowers them all in everyone. To each is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the common good.”
We are a diverse collection of Christian nonprofit leaders, educators, churches, thought leaders, and service providers.
At Christian Leadership Alliance, we create the places and spaces for leaders to invest their best in others. As a community, we cultivate faithful stewardship, management competency, and Spiritual development. We increase capacity and capability for greater Kingdom impact.
CE: What are the ways you accomplish the mission of Christian Leadership Alliance?
Heim: Practically, we curate and create digital resources and transformational learning experiences. Those two paths are clearly articulated on our website. We seek to bring people together in unity at the intersection of inspired thinking, collaborative community, and experiential learning.
Over the years, we have witnessed how life-changing it is for individual leaders and their teams. When we gather, we expect to grow, be challenged, and to sharpen and be sharpened for God’s glory.
CE: Why does what you’re doing matter for Christian leaders in today’s world?
Heim: Our mission is to equip Christian men and women to be faithful stewards, wholly committed to seeking and aligning their leadership with God’s will. The world is desperate for agents of hope and transformation.
CE: How do leaders get involved?
Heim: Subscribe to our digital resources, become an Alliance member, and commit to attending the annual Outcomes Conference 2026! Everyone who comes discovers they have something significant to give and receive!
