Stronger Together Was Always the Plan

Immeasurably More Than We Ask or Imagine

Unleashing His Power at Work within Us

Church and ministry leaders are carrying tremendous responsibility. We are called to lead people well, steward resources faithfully, develop healthy ministries and, ultimately, make Christ known.

But what if one of the greatest resources available to your Church isn’t another program, another tool, or another strategy? What if it is the community around you?

Christian Leadership Alliance (CLA) is a community where mission-minded leaders invest in one another.

One Body – For The Good of All

Paul reminds us in 1 Corinthians 12:4–7 that there are different gifts, different kinds of service, and different activities, but the same God is at work in all of them. We may serve in different places and play different roles, but we are part of the same Kingdom. Most importantly, the Spirit is at work in each of us for the good of all!

That is why collaboration between churches and Christian ministries can be so powerful. Each brings something different, but together we can accomplish something neither could have done as effectively alone.

Relationships formed by a shared missional call create the kind of collaboration we need more of in the Church.

A Table We Are Called To Share

The people sitting around the CLA table serve in churches, ministries, and organizations that may look very different from yours. What connects us is a Kingdom mission mindset.

One leader may bring expertise in finance. Another may understand fundraising. Another may have navigated a difficult organizational transition. Another may have a partnership with a ministry that opens a door a church has never considered. You don’t have to duplicate one another but learn from one another.

As one CLA member, Vonna Laue shared, “I view colleagues within the Alliance as friends and celebrate that we can do ministry together through the various organizations we serve. “

That is the description of a Kingdom-focused community. We are not competing for Kingdom impact. Together we are contributing to it.

Equipped and Connected for Greater Capacity

This is also why developing strong leadership and administrative competencies matter.

Administration, finance, fundraising, human resources, technology, communications, and organizational leadership may not always feel like the most spiritual parts of ministry. But when those areas are healthy, they create greater capacity for the Church to focus on its mission.

CLA exists to help Christian leaders sharpen their skills, expand their capacity, and multiply their ministry impact. Its community provides opportunities for professional development, connection and collaboration, spiritual encouragement, and Christ-like leadership development.

The posture of our heart is excellence and faithful stewardship. It is how God is glorified through what he calls us to do.

It’s Time to Take Your Seat!

The Church has a unique role. Para-church ministries have unique roles. Christian nonprofits and other organizations have unique roles, but the same God is working through all of us!

Maybe your next step in strengthening your Church isn’t about finding one more thing to add. It may be finding the right people to go on the journey with you .

Join Christian Leadership Alliance today. Take your seat and discover the immeasurably more that God has prepared for us!
